Track day No 2 done for us this year and it was a bit of a mixed day. Most of the cars experienced a few problems, and unfortunately one didnt even make it.
Other than that we all enjoyed it and made the most of the gorgeous weather to get out and put some laps in!
Full write up pictures and videos will be coming soon!
The Indy 500 is edging closer and the teams are out testing on the historic oval circuit. As is the way with Indy Car there always seems to be a big accident, with cars reaching speeds of 225mph accidents are never small and as much as we dont want to see it happen you can't help but watch them over and over again!
Helio Castroneves is the latest driver to suffer just such and accident... Very scary indeed!
With every new track that's designed and old one gets cast aside but this year the World Touring Car Championship is heading to the Nurburgring, not the watered down GP track but the mighty Nordschleife!
The teams have already been there testing and entering VLN races with various cars to give the drivers a fighting chance when they rock up this weekend and have to do the business on track.
This shouldn't be taken lightly, a full blown FIA world championship series racing on the Nordschleife is massive, add in the driving talent of messrs Loeb, Muller, Lopez, Huff, Tarquini and Sabine Schmitz the circuit guru and we're in for some great racing!!
Just to get you hyped up here's Seb Loeb getting to grips with the insane circuit in his Citroen C-Elysee WTCC
